Who is responsible

Throughline is operated by We Are Digital Vision Ltd, registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under reference ZB247458.

Where your data is held

Throughline is built on Base44, a hosted application platform that provides the database, sign-in and server functions.

Data is stored and processed in the United States by Base44 and the providers it uses, and may also be processed in Israel. If your organisation needs UK or EU storage, tell us before you start.

Who can see it

Every campaign, tracker, article, score and AI answer belongs to one agency. Access rules on each record mean only members of that agency can read or change it.

Throughline's own administrators can see all agencies, so that they can support accounts and fix problems.

Shared report links

A shared report link gives read-only access to one report to anyone who has the link. It never includes the full text of articles.

How AI is used

Messaging documents and article text are sent to AI models so that key messages can be extracted and coverage can be read and scored. AI assistants are also asked questions about your organisation's topics, and their answers are stored.

These models are provided by OpenAI and Google and are reached through Base44. AI output can be wrong; check it before you use it outside your team.

How articles are read

Throughline reads only public web pages. Links that are not ordinary web addresses, or that point at private or internal network addresses, are refused.

In transit

All traffic between your browser and Throughline is encrypted with HTTPS.

What Throughline does not collect

Throughline does not collect social media posts, polling or survey responses. It works from your own documents, published articles and AI answers.
